Beginning Drawing is a comprehensive course, geared toward students ages six through adult, designed to introduce students to pencil, charcoal, and pastel. We build our drawings using basic shapes and create realism through shading techniques, light source, and color theory. Students find this course fun and educational, regardless of whether or not they have had previous experience with drawing. In eight weeks, students complete a study of basic shapes, a still life, a floral, a landscape, and an animal. This class meets 1 hour and fifteen minutes per week for eight weeks. The cost is $80.00. Class times may vary according to students’ requests and interests. Students will receive a materials list upon enrollment. Approximate cost for materials is $12.00-$15.00.
